CIRCUS MAXIMUS: RIDER OF THE STORM, is finally here! Dido's third adventure launched on March 2nd, World Book Day, and I celebrated by doing an all-morning event for the boys of Sussex House School at Waterstones 02, a bookshop where the wonderful Sue Chambers and LJ Ireton have been among my greatest supporters. School visits are one of my favourite parts of being an author and I've had a brilliant welcome in the last few weeks from Newton Prep in Battersea, Chafyn Grove in Salisbury and Castle Court in Dorset. My family and friends came together for a proper bash of a launch party - something I missed out on during the Covid years when Race to the Death and Rivals on the Track came out - and we toasted the book with (appropriately) Dark and Stormy cocktails from my native bermuda. A blog tour has just finished and I'll be doing some bookshop visits in the coming weeks....there will also be more events in the atuumn when the book comes out in paperback. RIDER OF THE STORM is the conclusion of a trilogy....but....there is one more CIRCUS MAXIMUS title to come (which will definitely be the last one!), so watch this space.
