Circus Maximus: Race to the Death galloped its way into the world on March 4th and was a Book of the Month for ReadingZone, Toppsta and VIP Reading, and also featured as Debut of the Month on LoveReading. It was recommended in The Week Junior as one of their best books for Easter reading and, very excitingly, was chosen by Nicolette Jones as her Children's Book of the Week in the Sunday Times.
To celebrate the launch on World Book Day, I contributed a chapter reading to a video for Blackwell's (which you can watch below) and did interviews for BBC Radio Solent, BBC Wiltshire, The Salisbury Journal and BookTime. Meanwhile, I'm delighted that Winstone's Bookshops have made Circus Maximus: Race to the Death their Children's Book of the Month and I did an interview with Nikki Gamble for her podcast In the Reading Corner which is now available on Spotify and other platforms. For schools and teachers, The Reading Agency ran a Chatterbox Read and Review offer, featured in their newsletter. Finally, you can read interviews and pieces by me in the blog tour for the book which was hosted by Emily Weston at The Teacher Bookworm, Sifa Poulton at Sifa Elizabeth Reads, Kate Heap at Scope for the Imagination, Amy at Golden Books Girl and Erin Hamilton at My Shelves are Full. Another interview was hosted by Mr Ripley's Enchanted Books.
